Flying Club Downloads Below are the currently available Flying Club aircraft. For the Club, aircraft are selected on the basis of realism, detail and outstanding overall quality. Each of these aircraft represents a truly superior design effort by very talented add-on creators for Microsoft® Flight Simulator. These aircraft downloads are hosted directly on this site in original, unaltered form. Shavron Air thanks these aircraft authors for what we believe to be the definition of what makes Flight Simulator so enthralling!
De Havilland Tiger Moth This one is pure seat of the pants flying. Your choice of several color schemes and floats too. You can't be in much of a hurry to get where you are going, but the Tiger Moth will give you an enjoyable, open air ride. Caution - no brakes!
Messerschmitt ME-108 B-1 Taifun A tight fit for four people, better with just two. Features the 109's brand of narrow gear and great low speed performance. 160 knot cruise. A very detailed and wonderfully fun airplane for your shorter cross-country jaunts. No autopilot! NOTE - download and install aircraft, then get this panel fix (replaces PANEL.CFG file, correcting an error, from the original author).
Beechcraft Twin Bonanza For family vacations, here is the ideal ride. Reasonably fast and with good range, the twin Bonanza is an ideal family truckster for the sky and is fun to fly, too. Several paint schemes included.
Lancair Legacy 2000 In a word, FAST. That's the Lancair's stock in trade. Limited load (two only with very light baggage) but with great range and simply phenomenal performance. At like 9,000 feet you can expect cruise in the low 200s IAS! Perfect for personal travel. NOTE - download and install aircraft, then get this update (replaces .AIR and AIRCRAFT.CFG files for greater realism, from the original author).
Gloster Meteor Inexpensive to buy but a gas-hog to fly, the Meteor is your ticket to old-style jet fun. This plane will handle the confines of the Mad Bear field with ease - well, maybe with a bit of practice. CAREFUL - you can drain the tanks on this bird inside of thirty minutes if you try.
De Havilland Chipmunk Developed just after World War II, this beauty was the first aircraft designed by De Havilland to replace the Tiger Moth as a single-engine trainer. It is easy to master, but at the same time, a ball to fly. |
